This kid is crazy! He is so wild and such a boy, it's awesome! He has more owies right now than I can shake a stick at! He is covered in scrapes and bruises. He hasn't wiped out on his bike in days, but he continues to fall, skid, and crash on the pavement due to running, and being silly. Several of the scrapes are from the bike, and they are healing. Like his chin, which I forgot to photograph!
Then on Sunday morning, he awoke to tell me. . .
"Mom, I think the tooth fairy is coming tonight."
"Oh, I doubt it."
"No, HE has too!" (as he wiggles his first loose tooth!)
Okay, well first off, it's a HE because we jsut saw "Tooth Fairy" at the theater. So Landon thinks his tooth fairy is a dude. Cool. Second, he is way ahead for a tooth loosing schedule! I thought I had a few more months. He is so excited, and as am I for him, but I am going to miss his sweet baby tooth smile. It changes once those large adult teeth come in, and your kid is still 6. Oh well.
All day Sunday he kept wiggling it and showing everyone. When it was time for bed, he was so upset that it hadn't come out yet. Poor kid! It wasn't that loose, so I figured we had a few days, even weeks before it would come out. Then this morning, he says so matter of fact, "Mom, will you just pull it out?"
Really!?? I told him I would try, and with one little pull, it came out. And I barely tried! He screamed, "OW!" and then added, "that didn't hurt that bad! Can I see it??" Okay, weirdo.
Then came the blood, 'cause it really wasn't quite ready. He panicked a little but then, loved it, and thought it was so cool that he had this funny space between his teeth, and the rest of the day hs has been checking himself out in the mirror to see the hole and see if there is more blood.
He is the best boy ever. We are so blessed to have him around! Girls are so not like this.
