Speaking Larsen

We don't have a nickname for our Brooklyn yet, but just for note it's not Brook or Brooky. It just went with the title and rhymed. We don't call her anything but Brooklyn so far. She has yet to earn herself a nickname. Also she started on Zantac last Monday, and so far it's helping. Less puke, but still plenty of it. Ew. Okay, this is the first bit of sun damage Brooklyn has got all summer so far! You can hardly tell, but it's so obvious in person that her nose and cheeks are pinker than then should be! If you look closer at her face you can kinda see. Anyway... Tummy time is beginning to be fun! See what I mean! Now for a new trick. Rolling over from tummy to back. Easier than back to tummy, as the weight of her head just pulls her over, and she doesn't do it on purpose. It just happens. She did this for the first time on July 8th. But I am just catching her doing it on camera today. Ta-Da!

I don't really have anything to say, I just wanted to pull up a few photos of my little girls all around 3-4 months of age. Sadly I don't have tonz of good ones of Catelyn at that age,, where she is alone. She always had someone else int he photo with her, which is fine. It's just makes it harder to showcase jsut her. Plus my camera is much nicer than my the one I had back in 2003. That was still a film camera, so lots of shots were wasted. It's so hard to get good photos of a baby with out a fast speed digital camera. I received a slow speed(It was fast back then though!) digital camera Christmas '03, but in comarpison to the one I have now... So I have better photos of Catelyn staring around her being 10 months old. From there, though I had lots of great pics to choose from. It will be fun to compare the girls as they age!

When days are hot, when days are cool, in the swimming pool! Breast stoke, side stroke, fancy diving too! Oh, don't you wish you never had anything else to do!!! Thanks to Lara, that will always be one of my favorite camp songs. And now for some wet shots! Look who l♥ves the tub! My friend Camille, I forced myself to do something with the kids. The Rexburg Splash Park was packed! But my kids loved it. It was also a good warm up for our August getaway, where we plan to hit a few water parks twice, maybe even triple the size of this place. It took Jo a while to warm up to the idea, and she never did get her hair wet. Cate and Landon didn't hesitate one bit! the sidewalk chalk was a fun thing to take when the were bored or needed a change... and Brooklyn didn't like the water at all! Seems like when I was growing up that my two youngest brothers got the nicknames of "the little boys" cause they were the last two, and they were at the time little. Well, I find that these days, we refer to these two as "The Little Girls." Can't help it. JoJo is really going through a slow and terrible time with her newest sister, though she adores her. She is constantly wanting that silly paci and carriers her blanket with her. But she is also wanting to be big, and go outside with the kids too. She can't decide whether she wants to be more grown up, or try to get the baby attention she once had. Poor thing. Today, another Wednesday, but a milestone for Brookz! She is 14 weeks old. She is smiling more and more, on the verge of real giggles, and bald as ever. She is going through a growth spurt, up once a night to eat... where before she was sleeping all the way through the night. Her toothless little smile makes us all melt. I am eager to see if ...

Landon and Cate earn their computer time...every minute of it. It's amazing to me that he is only 4 though, and can navigate his way around Nick Jr! Getting stronger and bigger everyday, but we still can't easy up on the bibs!! I hate that Brooklyn is a spewing machine! The doctor might put her on something at her next appointment. Guess we will see! She cracks me up! Since Brooklyn has arrived, she as been more needy of her paci and blanket. She must have been either bored with Landons' computer game or just flat out tired. Who knows. Okay, here ya go. Don't be to quick to judge the fellow. I asked my kids to tell him goodbye. And perhaps bribed Jocelyn to plant a kiss on his cheek. Sweet Brooklyn is getting bigger by the day, and she is starting to giggle. First real smiles started at 8 weeks to the day! And the last week has been filled with almost-really-there giggles. She is such an amazing combination of her siblings in looks too! It's insane! Still hanging on to that paci--Jocelyn was pretty freaked out at the loud bottle rockets my cousins were lighting off. I am just glad that it keeps her calm and happy for now. Rock out! Landon seemed to enjoy watching us all do Rock Band like we were really all famous.
