Speaking of the Littlest Larsen and two of her older siblings

Brooklyn has a nickname sorta, one that Kyle is using! BUMBO! (Though I am not sure this is a nickname I will be using. I seem to call her sugar more and more. I can't handle the thought of her being called Bumbo as she gets older...it goes along with dumbo and jumbo too well.) I broke down and bought one. They are a rubber-like chair that keeps them upright and comfy! She has been so much happier since I did too! You can see her enjoying a show with Jo Jo (Dora, of course). And she is able to sit up on the counters with me while I do dishes. (Sure, sure, I know the instructions say to NOT put it up on any surfaces, but really folks, I watch her.) It's been a great investment for us! Landon and Jocelyn also paused on Sunday last week for a quick photo. Jo's little piggy tails are getting longer and longer and just spiral like a pigs tail! They are so cute. Everywhere we go, people ask and comment about her hair. So funny.

ALL I WANT FOR CHRISTMAS!!!

That's right folks, and she has a lisp to go with the song!!! She is a pretty awesome little 1st grader!

City Kids

These are farm kids. Fearless, hard working, cute as ever little farm girls. (I know there are some boys around too, but really for the point here, this works. Farm kids.) These are city kids. Chicken to touch or get too close. {don't let the overalls throw you off, he was chicken!} Catelyn is the only one who finally cowboyed up and held the heifer's halter-- a mile away from the heifer! I couldn't get Jo Jo or Landon to try it. We spent the day, like we do nearly every year at the fair, showing the cows with Grandpa Lynn. This year was very different as dad spent the day in a wheelchair, forcing him to let the others do the work. He finally got up and showed one cow, because I think he was getting tired and really wanted to show her. It was fun, like always to spend the day with family, do the cow thing. The fair food and free chocolate milk were pretty great too! ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ We miss him, and feel lucky that he came to visit. Kyle is awesome.

Speaking Landon and Brooklyn

Yeah, I know. We make the cutest kids in the world. (My friends kids, and my nieces and nephews and cousins are cute too, but I am super biased!) He was pretty excited to go to his first day of Joy School. Can't blame him. He feels like he should be going to school too, with Ong and Cate off to school. I took Jocelyn to the school with me to finish Ong's registration, and she wanted to know "When did I get to do school?" When we picked Landon up, he declared, "Mom, I had so much fun! and Mom! I gots to do real homework." He then presented his homework to me:
