Speaking Larsen

So, she's kinda a wild thing. Busy and sassy, and throwing herself on the floor if she feels slighted, at all. But she has the really awesome thing going on right now. She makes a face, and holds it. Like she's frozen. It's a kick in the pants. And she is constantly saying "too much". Too much what, I have no idea.  But she says it. Sometimes in proper context, like at dinner when we serve peas. But sometimes, it's just out of the blue. See the beast for yourself.  A little devil, a little angel residing in our home.   If these last two don't put you over the edge with laughter,  I don't know if you can be helped. Just sayin'. Love this bug. We really do.

So, it should be documented that Catelyn did the "Banana-fana-fo-fanna Song" using Truck.  I didn't hear it, (darn it all) but Kyle was witness to it.  And he didn't say anything, just letting it slide.  Cause he's a good dad like that.  ♥♥♥ It should also be documented that Jocelyn said the following in the car tonight on our way to Barnes and Nobles for the school book singing thing. Mom, do we have a text phone? A what? A text phone. Jocelyn, what's a text? Well, it's a text, like a computer, but not a computer. So do we have one? Yes. Why? Just wondering. Seriously I thought I was gonna die laughing.  Her little voice and slight lisp made it all the more fun.

Catelyn is friends with Daphne Wight.  The daughter of a friend of mine from childhood.  Chris Wight and I grew up in the same ward, all our lives.  And I kinda wish I had one photo of us as kids together as proof.  We just were that close, I suppose. But here it is, years later, and they are friends.  And it's hilarious because they are desperately trying to figure out how they are "related".  You read that right. Family knows, but for those who don't: My dad's brother, Lorin, married Nicki, who is Chris' sister, and now Daphne is Lorin's niece because of the marriage.  I know.  Genealogy is nuts some times.  They aren't related, but for the sake of my sanity in trying to explain it to them, I finally confessed that they are cousins , but distant cousins.  Which they're not. Well, the girl has started drawing people!  Fun, eh!  She's so cute at it and sign her name on her art work as well!  This morning she woke up with this rash everywhere.  Lovely.  We are headed into see the doctor at 4.  I hope it's just an allergic reaction to the antibiotics. If it's pox, I am gonna scream!

He lost his first front tooth on Jan. 1st.  Here it is, Valentines day and six weeks later, and Landon's other front tooth has had been loose for over a month, but it wasn't close to coming out.  Until, this afternoon.  It was much looser and he asked me to pull it out while I was on the phone with Dana.  So I asked Dana to tell him a story while I pulled it.  She said, "Well, uh . . ." and by then it was over.  His tooth was out. No blood, no tears.  Just tooth. Oh, and if you want to know about the kid's Valentines Day , you can read it HERE .

The girl's a stripper!  I can't keep clothes on her!  It's a joke!  Though she does have her redeeming moments like when she discovers Kida in secret hiding spots, or sits in laundry baskets with her toys, totally content.  And it's true, we call her BJ on occasion, when she is naughty, but NOT because of her uncle.  Just because.

  We had a great time!  That's for sure! The kids had a blast playing with their cousins and will miss them as they are moving to Texas! The rest of details of this reunion are on my blog!
