Speaking Larsen

You kids crack me up. This morning, like every morning, I laid Brooklyn down to bask in the sunlight. But I hadn't expected to find Landon lying there with her. Jocelyn, stop spitting. This is a new habit for you...Drives me crazy. This picture made me look at how different Jocelyn looks in comparison to Brooklyn. But then again, they look similar too. Love your hair Cate. It's getting long enough to do some pretty cute stuff... We need to get you three some new shoes...you keep growing. I think we are going to do the 5 dollar flip flops from Old Navy. Hope you like them.

Gina's "Charlies' Angels"

Doesn't it look like they were trying to pose like Charlies Angels?? From that shot, I then got Cate and Landon to pose a bit, but Jocelyn wasn't so into it. The whole reason for the photo shoot was to get Catelyn's pony tail {Which is like JJ's} on camera! Boy my kids are hams!

Bubbles--Thanks to Debbie!

Seriously the kids had a blast playing with these bubble wands that Debbie brought them for Easter. Thanks Debbie! You are a pretty "great" aunt!

Photos of Fun

You will sleep anywhere, any way right now. Not to forget you can sleep through all kinds of tornado-like noise. We love it. The curl on the girl, continues. It keeps wrapping around and around...getting longer by the weeks that pass. Bright-eyed you are, for about an hour at a time, three to four times a day. You have pretty blue eyes, and once your eyelashes come in, you are so going to be winning us over again with your 'windows to the soul'. See what I mean, the curls keep coming! Really, I laid you down in an emergency like moment to rescue Cate from the potty, and you stayed asleep... They were being way to silly. Giggling and hugging on the floor. How do you not photograph that? Brooklyn's blues again. Where else do I put you when I want to keep a close eye on you and am cooking dinner? The counter works great. And these two photos...well. Landon spent the afternoon with his Grandpa Lynn..."working". Dad bought him some real work glvoes so that, acc...

A Lengthy 100th Post!

Just snapped a few pics of the kids this morning. Brooklyn's little outfit was mine, and though it's aqua in color, it isn't the most girly outfit. Oh well. It makes her eyes sure look blue when they are bright and wide open! Okay, so really, Catelyn is pretty amazing to have around. She is a pretty great helper. She can and does carry and hold Brooklyn a lot. Brooklyn will never need to cry for attention. At least not so far. It's like having a real doll. As you can see....and NO, not one of these photos is staged. I caught Cate in the act and had her freeze and not move so I could go grab the camera, so I could capture her in the act. Landon made it all the way through the night--for the first time--in underwear without an accident! Good work little man! Maybe no more nighttime unders (pull-ups) will be needed! Landon always calls Brooklyn "Our New Baby". "Mom, where is our new baby?" is a a question he asks nearly every morning. He k...

Grounded for the First Time

Catelyn, We grounded you for the first time yesterday. You had been outside for a long time, played with friends, and we had gone for a walk on top of that. I asked you to stay inside, but you disobeyed, and left. You did say you were going to Drennen's house, but I had told you, "No." You didn't return home, nor did we come after you. More than an hour went by. Then nearly another. We ate dinner and cleaned up, without hearing from you one bit. I had a pretty good idea where you were, but I wasn't sure. Dad wanted to go find you. But we decided to wait to see how long until you would come home. It was shortly before bedtime. We then had a talk, at which point you bald your head off, kicking and screaming and nashing of teeth began, and the wailing and uncontroled yelling and screaming ensued. We gave you a minute to get this out of your system. Then sent you to bed. You are grounded for two days. No computer, no friends, no bike. Two days. Sorry hone...

Spending Time Together!

Every time I tried to get all 4 of them in their jammies, Landon and Jocelyn kept sticking their feet out. So this is the best one of the bunch. Then I got Landon and Jocelyn to hold Brooklyn, but not Cate, which is funny, because she loves to hold her. She is going to be high maintenance, isn't she... Your first Sunday, Brooklyn. April 19th. I thought you would sleep, but in true Larsen fashion, you were awake for most of Sacrament meeting. Cate held you the first 20 minutes though, which was sweet and great! Kept her quiet and you happy. For 10 days old, you seemed content to be at church. Hee Hee. I am sure you will have your days though, where you won't like church. Ah, the future. It's been really nice weather! My kids dumped out the sand we had in a bucket, and once it washes and blows away, that will be all the sand we have. Rigby Lake will have to do for sand play. We had the neighborhood kids over to play and lots of them came too. Yeagers were here an...
