HAPPY BIRTHDAY CATE!!!!
Born March 19th, 2:05pm, weighing 6lbs 8 oz, 19 in, in Boise, Idaho.

We were pretty excited to welcome our first baby home!

Proud Dad!

We have several photos of people who came to see us, and Cate, but I won't post them all. How about a Great Grandma and some Grandpas?

Of course we can't forget the blessing day, which was also full of family that we photographed, but this has been my all time favorite of that day... Isn't she darling!

The months went fast! She grew up a little bit every day, as we all do, but by 5 months we had a chubby little munchkin who was sitting pretty good. Around Halloween, we had a little girl with a bit an attitude, which little did we know, would grow into a big attitude...

18mths...

Going on 2. . .

Right before Cate turned two, she welcomed a sibling into her life pretty happily...

Then we celebrated her 2nd birthday...
(Sorry no birthday cake photo...hmmm)
Which was all to quickly followed by a 3rd...

And a 4th. . .

And a 5th. . .

And now, we are already to the 6th.
It nearly puts me in tears (thanks alot prego hormones!)
She is still sassy, but so sweet, helpful, honest, innocent, and feisty.
She loves kindergarten, her friends, being outside, and Polly Pocket.
She wants to scrapbook, read, and play NickJr.com all the time.
And our family would not be complete without her.
We miss her while she is gone to school, and next year, when she is gone all day, will be hard at first, I am sure.
We hope the next six years don't go so fast, and that we can instill in her the virtues and values we want her to carry with her throughout her crazy teen years and into adulthood.
Poor Cate has been our trial and error child in more ways than her younger siblings. We have been learning everything on her, and perfecting (at least trying) to on the others. She is the first for us to deal with every new change that comes with age. I hope that over the last six years we haven't done any permanent damage to who she is and is supposed to be. And likewise, I hope over the next few years we do better as her parents.
Turning 6 was more of a milestone for Cate than us. Kyle said it right when he said that today was a more anticipated day for her than Christmas. Not sure why, but she is so happy to finally be 6.
I am just happy we have managed to teach her how to properly spell S-I-X. Hee Hee!
