Seriously, this girl has a lot going on. From contacts to Cindy Crawford. Let's see.... Where to start.
But today, let's focus on her WAX MUSEUM PROJECT.
Nothing like a huge end-of-the-year project for an 11 year old. Catelyn's class did a wax museum and she was assigned to choose someone from Illinois that has had influence. After careful consideration, she choose Cindy Crawford.
We researched and discovered how SMART Cindy was in High School. I'm sure she's still smart! She's the icon of what a supermodel is, and her mole became a beauty trademark. She's the highest paid model on the plant, and currently is still modeling! She has a lot going on besides modeling, though. Baking is a hobby she enjoys and she is involved in a lot of motivational stuff for inner beauty.
We borrowed a ballroom dance dress from Liz Seedall and gave her some big hair and a mole and off she went to spend two hours giving a little speech about Cindy and what kind of influence she has had on women and girls.
I'm hoping to run her to the eye doctor this afternoon to pick up her glasses. And tomorrow she'll spend the whole day in Yellowstone.

This isn't the best quality, because it was so noisy in there, but at least you get a sense. She talks so fast (wonder where she gets that from.)
- On Wednesday, May 21, Catelyn had an eye appointment and she got contacts. She also had a loose bone embedded into her gums, which the dentist removed. (That was weird. Like a sliver, in her mouth.)
- On May 23, she had to turn in her form to perform in the Talent Show. She'll be singing.
- Today, May 27, her whole grade did their wax museum projects. Her glasses came in, so we need to go back to the doctor to have them fit.
- On May 28th, she and her whole grade are going to Yellowstone.
- On May 29th, she has an appointment for her contact check-up.
- On May 30th, she has the Talent Show.
- On June 3rd, she has her class party and they are going Rollerskating.
- Mix into that some babysitting and piano, and the girl is booked!
