Speaking Larsen

I must admit--it was funny to watch.  Catelyn was just nuts about Amanda and her dress and everything.  Then Amanda egged it on, and gave Cate her bouquet to hold for her.  I think she stood in the line for a good 45 minutes or so.  Landon and Jocelyn were happy to play around with Chelsie and eat Cake.  And Brooklyn was pretty social, until she got tired. Then as I stated on my blog, we hit Yellowstone's Bear World and I just had to laugh at this one....Big Sister is freaking out scared and littlest sister is pretty chill.  Middle daughter is EAGER to take the thing, and Landon, well ok, he seems to care less about the whole ordeal.    After she got that baby bear, she wasn't so sure about it.  Hilarious.

She would only wave to Kyle for a few days, but now, she officially will wave to anyone, on her own terms. Meaning, only if she wants to.

But I didn't have any kind of photoshop program in 2007.   And I didn't have a video camera back then either.   Still don't.   But I did have a speedy camera, that caught every first step of hers.  And now, I can see her take those first steps over and over again. My favorite is that she has that finger in her mouth the whole time. Who knew she could get curly hair, too!  Hahahaha!

She's been able to go up for a while.  But she has no concept or clue that she could fall.  Catelyn is the one who first let her do it.  She followed right behind Brooklyn to make sure she was safe.  She seems to quite like going up the stairs.  Makes me nervous, but as long as someone is there behind her, I am okay with it.  One of these days we are going to be able to take the gate down and she will be going up and down like a pro. She still hasn't started to even try walking.  She seems awkward when you hold her hands to help her walk, so it might be a while still. And this morning, a new milestone, SHE WAVED!  At her Dad!  She l♥ves him so much; you can see it in her eyes when he walks in and it's obvious according to her smile.  Her little arm was just a flappin' at him this morning.  It was pretty sweet.  She will sometimes give you a high 5 if you are lucky and she is in the mood.  And she kinda points at ran...

We are having the opposite of Christmas morning at our house.  No toys.  We have one of these for storing toys: And several of these for the same reason: And last night the kids thought dumping them out for the sake of dumping toys would be fun.  This is a major rule breaker in our home.  I have had problems with this in the past, (even Mykalee knows this) and i have told them if it happens again, all the toys will disappear. And last night, after I found out what they had done, the toys have been grounded.  FOR A WEEK.  I hope it's as devastating as possible, so that they will learn I am serious when it comes to dumping toys out. {Also, Brooklyn is the only one who is exempt from this, as she was in bed.  Innocent.} On a side note, we did get the kids this on Friday.  It was time.  They seem to love it.

♥ Landon's new favorite song is White Liar.  It's hilarious.  Jocelyn can sing several of the words too. ♥ Brooklyn seriously smacks her lips when she eats anything.  It's a constant thing of hers and we think it's funny that she is a noisy eater. ♥ Catelyn has fallen in love with Taylor Swift songs.  She especially likes "You Belong with Me".  When I asked her what that meant, she replied that she didn't know.  She can sing it almost word for word. As can Jocelyn. ♥ Brooklyn kinda sings.  If you are singing, she starts doing this "ahhhhhhhh" thing with you.  It's pretty funny. ♥ Apparently Landon is a story teller at school.  He went off on this tangent of a story about his uncle BJ and a submarine.  Mykalee said the kids were hanging on his every word, totally engrossed in his story.  Which was totally a tall tale. ♥ Jocelyn has been waking up dry in the morning.  I am just to chicken to let her go to bed in undies ...
