Just Catchin Up!

Ah, my two little girls in the same little outfit from Auntie Debbie! Love that. Can you tell them apart?? Okay, so Jo finally get's a non-hand-me-down dress. A hot pink wonder that Cate whined about for an hour.... That she never gets anything new! Humph! Jo Jo loves her new dress. And the kids looked great so we did a Sunday shoot...well I did of Jo. No one else would pose for me that morning, but they did a little later as a group. {Freaky!!! I have enough kids to form a GROUP.} Brooklyn's first bottle , you would think was a major event because her siblings couldn't get over it! Jocelyn kept saying "bottle!" and Landon and Cate wanted to feed her so bad. She was so hungry though, she held on to it all by herself! I thought it was a good idea to have a pumped bottle for our sitters the other night so we could attend the temple. She took it like a pro. Hasn't had one since though! The Liquid Gold is available at the pump, so no need to feed twice unl...

One Fine Day--This was all on Monday, August 10

Thanks Kiwanis! Since Kyle joined the Kiwanis Club he has had some pretty fun times, and for the first time we as a family got to join in! The Annual Kiwanis Family Picnic was held at the IF Zoo this year. And we are glad that our friends the Kearsley's were there! Brian is a great addition to the Kiwanis Club! The kids had a great time and I know we all enjoyed seeing the animals, as they were out and many were very active due to the cooler weather and time of day. The dinner was good too! This was hilarious. Kyle picked Jo Jo up to see a Wallaby and her shoe fell in the little ditch. When Kyle went to retrieve it, the zoo attendant started yelling at him to "get on the other side of the fence, he wasn't allowed in there!!" Maybe you had to be there.... That was the Zoo! How about some tramp time while Cate was at a friends.... And now for a popsicle. Landon and Jo Jo snarffed theirs! Okay, I let my 4 months old try it out, too. I am not a mean mom. ...

Swimmers

Landon finally took to the water like a duck! He has been scared of it for some time now, but this last week, at Downata, he went for it. He clung to me for a while. Nervous. He wouldn't' let go. But I forced the life jacket on him, and started to play with him and within about 20 minutes he was getting brave enough that I could let go for a few minutes at a time. Then, I started to force him into coming to me. I would let go and tell him to just run to me...even though he was in the water. Run, son. Run! And he would kick his skinny little legs and viola! He can managed swimming around without me, with a life jacket on. By the end of the days, he was swimming everywhere alone, even in the deep end! Catelyn , who already trusts her life jacket, went straight to jumping off the edge, and after much bribing (three pieces of gum and one Popsicle) she agreed to try the dragon water slide. This she ended up LOVING and went 3 times. Landon, after seeing Cate do it, wan...

Looky at Brooky and no, you can't call her that

We don't have a nickname for our Brooklyn yet, but just for note it's not Brook or Brooky. It just went with the title and rhymed. We don't call her anything but Brooklyn so far. She has yet to earn herself a nickname. Also she started on Zantac last Monday, and so far it's helping. Less puke, but still plenty of it. Ew. Okay, this is the first bit of sun damage Brooklyn has got all summer so far! You can hardly tell, but it's so obvious in person that her nose and cheeks are pinker than then should be! If you look closer at her face you can kinda see. Anyway... Tummy time is beginning to be fun! See what I mean! Now for a new trick. Rolling over from tummy to back. Easier than back to tummy, as the weight of her head just pulls her over, and she doesn't do it on purpose. It just happens. She did this for the first time on July 8th. But I am just catching her doing it on camera today. Ta-Da!
