You Kids are Gorgeous!

So I entered my kids photos into a Cute Kid Contest and I wanted to show you the photos I submitted. Only one could be in the contest, but you know I can't pick just one of my kids as the cutest. So I submitted these four, and Jocelyn's photo was selected by the host of the contest.

I know, how to pick just one! Right??

The Opposite of Christmas Morning

We are having the opposite of Christmas morning at our house. No toys. We have one of these for storing toys: And several of these for the same reason: And last night the kids thought dumping them out for the sake of dumping toys would be fun. This is a major rule breaker in our home. I have had problems with this in the past, (even Mykalee knows this) and i have told them if it happens again, all the toys will disappear. And last night, after I found out what they had done, the toys have been grounded. FOR A WEEK. I hope it's as devastating as possible, so that they will learn I am serious when it comes to dumping toys out. {Also, Brooklyn is the only one who is exempt from this, as she was in bed. Innocent.} On a side note, we did get the kids this on Friday. It was time. They seem to love it.

With Grandpa Dean's passing, we received special permission {which Kyle didn't like to have to ask for, because in the church handbook, it specifically says "Members should not ask for special permission to baptize their children. . .blah, blah blah....*Oh!! not that I am making fun of the handbook. I just don't what it says exactly* I argued back that this was a rare exception, and we should at least ask. {Also, not as rare as I thought-- as I found out Friday night -March 18- that the family who had a viewing going at the same time as ours, at Coltrin's, had a baptism and a funeral in the same day as well! ...
