Speaking Larsen

Our little Jocelyn is quite the little actress these days.  She loves to pull faces and pose for the camera.  (I am a little concerned that the second photo on here is a clue to her future career: lounge singer.) She adores Kyle Calder still, and her aunt Janelle.  And we had a great time hanging out with them in Utah.  Jocelyn was easy going, curious about the baby, and eager to play with her cousins.  She makes everyone around her smile and her happiness is contagious. 

Landon is becoming goofy like his uncles when the camera is on him.  The peace sign and fabulous faces are non-stop for him.  Just thought it was worth mentioning, that Landon really wants a brother and especially now that he has seen the new little brother Kayson got.  He also was giving a massage to Janelle, that had us all peeing our pants with laughter, when we realized he was using his whole body to do it.  And the kid loves to mess around and have anyone rough house with him. Even if it means tucking his shirt into his underwear.

So I think Cate loved holding that baby.  She wanted to so much!  She seems to really like Sawyer, but mostly, I think she just likes babies. When we got back for Utah, she had a dentist appointment!  NO CAVITIES!!! I am so proud of her! But we have to see an orthodontist.  Boo.  Something about space in her mouth... Catelyn is a worrier.  She is just like Grandma Betty, in that sense.  She had to talk to the tech for about 10 minutes before she let the lady start.  She had to know "what is that", and "what are you going to do with that" for every instrument on that little tray of hers.  She was so nervous.  In the end, however, she did great.  She really wants to stop sucking her thumb, and even told the dentist that, and asked for the retainer to help, but he insisted that we wait and she might quit on her own or that the spacer she needs might do the trick.  We will see.  She has asked me a few times to just get...

Yes, Jocelyn is going to run right past the one under her feet.   She was so funny! Catelyn and Landon are getting old enough that the joy of egg hunting  isn't as cool as it was then they were a bit younger.   But they did have fun, even though it may not look like it. See how how much sweeter it is when they are younger:

She seemed to have a pretty great day!   She had friends coming and going from 11:30 until 5 pm!

Happy Birthday Catelyn!!!     Yesterday was you last day as a 6 year old.  Here we go for 7!!!
