Brooklyn Update

That one took a while, but it's finally through and I think she's doing better. She has been a bit grouchy and needy lately, and I am really not sure what is up with her. She continues to eat ANYTHING she finds on the floor, so we are pretty vigilant about watching that. She is getting pretty quick at her little Marine Crawl. She pulls and pulls herself around and gets from the living room to my room with ease these days. Sometimes she stays on her knees for about three or four "crawl motions" but then bellys out, and returns to the pull. She had her first Cheerios yesterday and is tackling a pancake this morning. This because she seems to have enough drool to soak anything down to crumbs. Also her Pincher Grasp seems to be in place . . . a fun milestone to watch for! Seems to be loving feeding herself REAL food! Better than the bits of paper, dried food, wrappers, and other miscellaneous stuff she finds on the floor. {Yep, you should know I am not a perfect hous...

The Christmas Post of 2009

Not afraid this year. Not one bit. {Not even you sweet Brooklyn. You didn't fuss one bit about sitting on Santa's lap. You liked him.} Time for that Christmas photo shoot. . . And the one gift that I wasn't sure about . . . See their ears?? At least for now, they aren't addicted to them, and there are rules about using their little MP3 players. And at least for now, I know what they are listening to. And at least for now, they still talk to us, but have we started them out on the path of a teen a bit too early? I hope not. Thanks for all the wonderful gifts Grandma and Grandpa Pack and Grandma and Grandpa Larsen...and all our family who thought to give gifts to my kids this year. Thank you. They loved Christmas this year a lot.

Who's Afraid of the Big Bad Lucks??

Fear forced Landon to take to higher ground, but he came around... Then came the dipping of chocolate. This is a vibrating foot massage. And yes, it's on. And if we never have grand kids, we will know why. BJ!! Still getting into the tree.

The Going On's of Their Lives and Brooklyn's Hospital Stunt

Christmas program at School. Way to sing baby girl!!! Go Cate!!! This is what we see every morning from our little Jocelyn... paci and blankie and cuddly bear. Well soccer is over! Whew. What a crazy couple of weeks. I think Landon loved it though! Before the hospital part of this entry, mind you, she doesn't mind. STAY OUT OF THE PRESENTS!!!! Just posing for a quick picture. Brooklyn's got this funny smile, that I LOVE, and I actually caught it on camera! And please note, how close to going under Jocelyn is....funny little bath lover. Nothing like watching my monkeys play in the snow. And then this: Seriously, I am not joking. Did she have to follow in Landon's foot steps??
