Goodbye 2008 and Hello 2009!!!

Here's a reflection of our Christmas, our year and a long and incomplete list of things we are grateful for, things we received, things we did and more. Happy Holidays! Santa did it! He found her dream toy of a Polly Pocket house! Thanks Santa! And Santa did bring a train tracks to make it "longer, longer!" Thanks Santa! I guess if this is what Santa thought I'd want, I'll take it. Thanks Santa! The kids actually didn't wake up to early or during the night this year! Cate was up first and came into our room just a bit before 8 am. We then heard Landon as he cracked his door open. We all came out to see what was under our tree and they were pretty excited. We then let them wake Jojo up, as she wasn't awake yet, and she seemed a bit bummed that she had to get up instead of sleep. We had kept the socks downstairs by the other tree and when Cate went down there, she screamed, "Our socks are missing Mom!!!!" in honest panic. We had to explain...

Big Bruise

Cate carries Jocelyn around too much, especially now that Jo is getting bigger. Well, she lost her balance I guess and Jo hit the doorway, while Cate just cleared it and fell down. Poor girl! Family photos are scheduled for Friday too. Of course.

OCDness

I have been wanting to do this post for a while, but am just getting to it. I don't think that Landon is OCD really. He just is in a phase where he likes to line up stuff. I am sure there will be more of this to come from him, but for now, this is what I have. He started this around 2 years old or so and continues to do it. I finally created a separate photo file entitled "OCDness" for all the photos I collect of his "work". If you look at the first one to the last one, you can see his age difference. Funny little boy!

Welcoming Home Blaine....

I don't have a photo of Landon and BJ because Landon pulled a 'shy guy' on us that day in regards to BJ. Not sure why. They are totally buddies now, it just took a few minutes to warm up to him again. However at mom's house he got to playing with the colored pencils. And what does he do with them??? Line's them up! The girls were pretty excited to see BJ but then Jocelyn wasn't so sure about him. She didn't really like him, but now she adores him to pieces! Landon and Cate with their welcome home signs! They colored them all by themselves! Cute kids!

Teeth and Utah!

She pulled it herself! Thank goodness. It was about time! Then we went to Utah as part of Kyle's time off and hung out ---I need to blog about that, but here are a few photos of the kids that I liked. Cate loved Ella. Kayson and Landon played incredibly well together! Jocelyn enjoyed it all too!

3rd Grade Boyfriends

What, photos of my kids with Santa??? What does my title have to do with this post then??? Well, I have learned that you can never truly escape your past completely. Not unless you move away from your home town that is. Jack Klein was every little 8 and 9 year old little girls dream boy, at least at Bush Elementary back in 1985. Where is he today?? Take a wild guess. And YES, we believe in SANTA!!!!!!!!!!!! Catelyn has asked Santa for a Polly Pocket house, Landon wants a Thomas train tracks to make it longer, and Jocelyn said to bring what ever he thinks will be best for her. They are pretty excited.

Sexy Six

Yes, I did post this on my blog too, but just so I have it here, Catelyn misspelled six by doing her best to sound it out. It was hilarious. She has been making really good effort on her homework, and I think she is a good little student. She tries really hard!
